Privacy Policy

SafeSign ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address, collected when you create an account.
• Uploaded documents: Lease agreements, photos, and screenshots you submit for analysis. These are stored securely and used solely to provide you with analysis results.
• Usage data: The number of analyses you have run, used to manage your entitlement and display your usage history within the app.
• Device push token: An anonymous token used to send you analysis-complete notifications if you opt in. You can disable notifications at any time in Profile → Account → Notifications.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and maintain your session
• To process and analyze your uploaded documents
• To display your analysis history within the app
• To send push notifications you have opted into
• To process in-app purchases via Apple's StoreKit

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (AWS-backed). Encryption details:

• At rest: AES-256 encryption for all stored documents, analysis results, and account data
• In transit: TLS 1.3 for all connections between the app and our backend
• On device: All locally cached data is protected by iOS Data Protection (NSFileProtectionComplete)

Your lease documents are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket. They are never shared with third parties and are never used to train AI models.

AI Analysis

Document text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API inputs. API requests are routed through our backend — your documents are never sent directly from your device to Anthropic.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Anthropic Claude — AI analysis
• Apple StoreKit — in-app purchases
• Expo — push notification delivery

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account. All your data — documents, analysis results, and account information — will be permanently purged within 30 days of deletion.

You can also delete individual documents or all documents at any time from Profile → Account → Privacy & Security → Delete All Documents.

Children's Privacy

SafeSign is a tool for reviewing residential lease agreements and is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
